The Great Kandura Conspiracy - #56
I have to say, I do like the hyper pristine look of the kandura (or dishdash) as worn by men in the GCC / UAE. It seems to give a real air of importance, more so than a mere suit can ever do.
Please check out this great site to learn more about men and women's clothing (as well as much more!) in the UAE Grape Shisha.
What do you think they are talking about?
I like to think they are discussing tactics for the next game of hide and seek...

They don't look too hot there, either. (And how do they launder those shirts so nicely?)
This photo has a cool and calm feeling. I love the play between light, shadows and floor patterns.
This photo is superb. I love it.
BTW, you asked why you don't appear on the CDPB portal yet, it's only because you're on the beta.blogger platform.
Only a matter of technical problem. Won't last, don't worry. We want your pics on the portal!! LOL
bluey, I have to tell you I find guys in those arabic costumes quite sexy ;p
So much white....I did not think this was real at first :)
Ok, I'll ask the question nobody ever wants to ask, "what do they wear UNDER the dishdash?"
Hi Bluey, I love the photo, I really enjoyed reading through the Grape Shisha comments about men and women dress codes and I have the answer to Eric's question: change several times a day!
Didn't find the answer to Michael's question though!!!
And BTW I have the same problem you have, I'm on beta-blogger therefore not on the portal. So much for being modern!!!
Ok - I hope some of you guys come back for the answer...
what goes on under there
Not for the faint hearted. :)
