Dubithica Aquaticus a/k/a/ Marina Flower - #39
I don't do flowers, really I don't.
But sometimes things come along, they peek out from somewhere and whisper to you... you just have to take a moment with them...
Taken in the middle of a pedestrian walkway in Dubai Marina. I have no idea of the species of plant, latin or the nomenclature of plants, however - how about Dubithica Aquaticus?

It looks like a frangipanni. From now on you DO do flowers, you really do! That is a superb shot, I want more! Well done.
Beautiful flower and beautiful shot too!

It is beautiful!!Attractive!!

I like the flowers you took!
...Jing
It's definitely a frangipanni, I had a garden in Doha full of these lovely trees which I grew literally from a "stick"... if you break off a branch and stick into a pot of dirt it will grow... they have a lovely perfume.
Thank you for a beautiful photo and a lovely memory!
Oh really, if you don't know that these are frangipani you should be beaten with them until the scent enters your skin for the rest of your life!!!!
Possibly the most delightful flower on earth.
Re you 'I don't do flowers' - yeah I know, these things happen. But then... this is what frangipani does to you!
I really like this Bluey, looks so clean and fresh, nice mix of hues too.
Curly's Photoshop
Gee, I thought it was a plumaria, looked it up, and sure enough--they're one and the same as a frangipani. It's a beautiful flower and a lovely photo.
Def frangipani as others have said. We have one in our garden here at it is wonderful. Really great photo.

Errr... ok - this is a bit of a moment for me. Everyone, I mean EVERYONE knows that this is a frangipani (or indeed a plumaria) except me.
Did I miss that class?
wow. Whatever - I see beauty. Thank you all for the insight.
Don't worry Bluey, I just learned of the plumeria this year! Great shot.
Haha, it's ok, who can resist flowers this pretty? I agree with Curly, something about this photo is so fresh and clean.
It is deffenitly a frangipani. Native to indonesia and northern tropical queensland Australia.
