Musan-dad and daughter - #28

Yet again I cheat a little...

This shot is taken in Musandam in Oman. I love this shot of the most friendly family.

Lots of people turned up at once and I was longing to take some shots but was a bit shy! However I overcame this and went to ask if I could take some photos of them, yet alas I speak no Arabic and they didn't speak much English but the message was easily communicated...

The were very happy to have their picture taken and they took some of me too.

A love the happy and natural karma in this image...

I agree, this is very peaceful and tranquil for a shot. It almost looks cold there with the dark sky.

I love the karma of it too. Very good picture they got. They should be happy indeed.

actually, I like those photos with some people in it...
I like this one too.
As I imagine, if there were no people standing there happily, maybe its too cold to see this photo...
But, now there they are...with joy and happiness...the whole atmosphere is changed...:) warm and nice!!! I like this photo, like its atmosphere you showed us..

A cool and windy environment but some great warm smiles. I always feel uncomfortable with taking photos of people so it's good to know how other people tackle it.

I thought it was a Dubai daily photo? Perhaps you need to call it UAE daily photo.

Nice photo though. I didn't think Arabs liked having their photo taken?

Eric - it does look chilly, it was the day before a huge rain storm. These happen about once maybe twice per year. Not too cold - maybe 18 deg C.

Natalie - I know, it is hard to just ask sometimes! I hate asking and agonise for a longtime before I ask!

aphotoaday, jing and lisi - thanks!

Gail's Man - I know, I did say in post #1 what my intention was - if anyone has a problem with views outside of Dubai I will make it Dubai city only.
