Photos from in and around Dubai, U.A.E. Coming to you like milk. Fresh on your blogstep everyday.
Mid afternoon scene in Bur Dubai bus station. It looks pleasingly shaded, however it must have been about 43 to 45 degrees C.
Can't wait for the temperature to drop a little...

I've never been to the bus station & only been on a bus once.
I'm not sure if I mentioned that I lived in Jeddah from 1981-83ish. I forgot how much the climate influences architecture. There are things, like the roof in this bus stop, that wouldn't work well in a country with any real rain. I also forgot about how bare everything is and how clean (if dusty). I do remember being in Cyprus after Jeddah and marveling at how green things come out of the ground spontaneously.
outstanding photo. The shadows, the black and white, plus the setting of it all. I like it very much.
Temperature drop and moisture, Bluey? Look at Rchmond upon Thames todya's post! You will cool off nicely. http://richmonduponthamesdailyphoto.blogspot.com/
great photo, nice contrast
Good choice of b&w for this one. The stripes pop nicely.
Good Job! :)
beautiful picture
I think its nice bus station in Dubai, if you looking Dubai Real Estate Property, you can go there.
There are both city buses and private airport buses from the Dubai airport to Dubai. The airport buses are luxury buses with AC and baggage holds. Both city buses and airport buses leave from Terminals 1 and 2, and both have multiple drop-off points throughout the Dubai city center.
I Liked this post. The picture is really adorable.
