My cousin used to be a hairdresser in Satwa. I visited her once & was surprised to find the shop inside an office block. She said it was because of Muslim laws. I had to be smuggled into the kitchen, so I could talk to her.

beautiful picture. the salon I use is called Dream (04 398 6578). It in a place called Satwa (Al Diyafa Street) behind the old Jashanmal Building. It's extremely cheap here when compared to the UK. If you go anywhere in a hotel, it will cost you a lot more.

Hi Molliemoo

Jaky is right about the hotel prices so get out and about. Try Reflections on Al Wasl road, on the left just after Al Manara Street and just before the falcon villa as you come away from Al Qasr. Also try Sasha on Umm Al Sheif Street' just off the beach road in Umm Sequiem.

Both places also do the full range of treatments, including nails and hair soooo much cheaper than in the UK or in the hotels.

Just in case you were thinking of taking husband or partner to wait whilst you have it done you should know that men - definition includes boys over 10 - are not allowed in. Most of the local salons here are strictly women only.

Yeah interesting to see this pictures; I think that is the great exclusiveness in Dobai; you can find people from all over the world.

Good post. I learn something tougher on totally different blogs everyday. It should at all times be stimulating to read content from other writers and observe a little bit one thing from their store. I’d want to make use of some with the content on my blog. Naturally I’ll offer you a hyperlink on your internet blog for Online Surveys. Thanks for sharing.
