Golf Sail - #317

This is the Dubai Creek Golf Club - a pretty recognisable landmark in Dubai. A little reminiscent of the Sydney Opera in a way. They sail effect is quite common in Dubai - is it elsewhere too?

The sails are quite prevalant in other places. I am sending this from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The roof of our Convention Center is made up of
five "sails". Wikepedia probably has the best photo of the building:

I enjoyed my visit to Dubai and your photos are a continual reminder of why I have to return for another visit. Enjoyed the city and certainly enjoy your photos.

Check out this link to the proposed music hall in the harbour of Hamburg/Germany - not really a sail but still spikey

I think about the opera house in Sydney every time I see the building.

Good to see I am not the only one.

Nope...no sails here in Montego Bay. Can't think of any sails in the entire island of Jamaica either.

That's a really cool building.
