Another phone box... a nice use of solar power too. The UAE needs to embrace solar energy, yet it is still not allowed for buildings that are connected to the national grid to have solar energy.
That's mad in a country with THIS much sun.

I would like to imagine finding this somewhere in "the empty quarter" half way between the UAE and Amman, Jordan.
In Jamaica it is also illegal to produce your own power independently of the Public Electricity supply.
The irony of it all is that the Electricity supply has been and is increasingly becoming unreliable and everyday their adverts are on the radio, in the newspapers and on the tv telling us to conserve energy!
How best for me to conserve energy (and save money as well!) than to produce my own power supply by using alternative sources of energy! Duh!!
Ridiculous!
