Camel Boy - Nad Al Sheba - #68

Another nice part of Dubai is the camel pens out at Nad Al Sheba.

There has been certain bad practices employed over the years to do with camel jockeys, however now they have been replaced with robots.

I do hope to get a robot camel jockey for you all soon.

P.S. If anyone knows the company that manufactures robot jockeys - can I suggest that they make them small for household pets? I would love to race my three cats...

HaHa... guess you had to be there!!
Thank you for these pictures! I miss Doha, and Dubai so much, and I just love the way you see things, esp. the people and stuff like this... you have a great eye.

Bluey, absolutely YES! I want to see a photo of the robot jockey. I've heard about them for a while now, but never seen a picture. Perhaps I'll get to see one when in Dubai this Christmas.

AND....cat racing. Now that's another great idea, so long as the jockeys are neat and small enough. We must not distress these loveable and much respected felines.

The camels are certainly used to posing for cameras, aren't they.
