The Obidient Equus Caballus - #298

Part 2 of the 2 part series.

I have to make this very clear - the stick was only ever tapped and I am sure that it was never used in any aggressive way. Truly - I wouldn't feature a pic if I had any doubt of this fact.

Big Red - #272

A little hill in the sand... this is the biggest dune near Dubai and has the knick name Big Red.

There are various quad bike areas around here that are fun for an half hour or so - or you can over crank your short wheel base Nissan Patrol and blast to the top...

Falcon At Sunset - #266

Taken out on the dunes just about sunset.

Emarati's traditionally have cared for and used three animals in particular - camels, horses and falcons.

Roads? Where We're Going, We Don't Need Roads... - #264

A slight redux / dip in to the achieve... today's shot comes from a thrilling and fantastic dune drive earlier this year.

There is nothing quite like this terrain. Anywhere.

Good times and good friends...

Tracks a/k/a Creature Of The Night - #218

Came across these tracks on a dune. I have no idea what animal they belong to, or if such animal is known to exist.

Maybe they came from some hitherto unknown creature of the night...

I Can See For Miles and Smiles #101

A happy guy in the desert. Maybe he was happy that his male bearded friend the kundura wearing person of restricted height, approx 4 foot, had just kissed my very tall male friend... but that is another story...

Who knows?

Dunelight - #17

As it is Sunday which means it is the start of the working week here and the rest of the world is still chilling on their Sunday - I thought I'd post a simple picture of, in my humble opinion, simple peaceful natural beauty. (not the photo per se, that could be so much better especially with the purple artifact, but whatever I love the scene...)

There's no need to be all complicated now, is there?

Enjoy your time people, simple...
