To me that looks a bit like this. Purely visually, no deeper meaning. Even though some people might see one.
wow what a wall!!! highrise is good but that much....
have a nice weekend
A few million quids worth here. I'd like to live on Jumeriah Beach, but not in one of these high rise flats.
a complete eyesore to me...
& imagine if all these building were occupied, the road system will die.....

There is no road system. Seriously. They admitted after it all started going up that there was "no room" for roads. So narrow one-lane-each-side roads have to serve that entire several-hundred-thousand-people community.
What a stunner!
I had no idea it was the beach, thought it was just the desert with the line of buildings slowly marching towards the sand !!!
Great pic... now am I tempted?
No no no, reminds me of the Gold Coast (in worse)
As a photo it looks good and interesting, but thinking of architecture: terrible, inhuman.
oh, so striking...and worrying, too...
This land is a virgin one. There are plenty of desert area available. Why one should copy other downtowns and create a crowded city with hardly any space btween buildings!! Give 15 metres between buildings atleast. Individual buildings may be interesting. But when the Master plan is prepared have they thought about the Social Engineering aspect?
very futuristic - hard to believe that it is real.
Looks like Star Wars Episode X
Dubai is the city of the future. It is the city of wonders, this city came from no were to be one of the most important cities in the word. Dubai has many projects that seem unreal, but they made it real.
I have heard a lot of about amazing and breathtaking Dubai property
constructions, that is why so many tourists are really willing to visit Dubai, to see the masterpieces alive. I visited Dubai last summer. And I also was impressed with Dubai's progress and magnificent buildings and architecture. These Burj Dubai,World and Palm Islands, Dubailand, and other projects like the underwater hotel etc. are wonderful.
Thanks for nice blog.
This is great info to know.
