I couldn't help it - after BLOOOP x 1,000 seemed to go down well, here is another shot of the BLOOOP.

The guy in the background is oblivious to just how near he is to a blooop.

Roasted Vegetables - #32

I've shown you a little of Deira's fish market, now here is a character from Ras Al Khor's fruit and veg market. Ras Al Khor is at the top end of the Creek and is generally known for 2 things - the used car market and the fruit and veg market.

Once again, the market is a covered, yet open air affair. This, as you may guess, means the temperature in the summer is simply insane. The roof is corrugated aluminum....

This guy and all of his colleagues were working so hard in this heat. They hand pull big carts / wheelbarrows around the market. Each customer gets a man with a barrow to help.

This guy's face tells a million tales... and not one of them involves the word blooop or the discussion of world invasion.

BLOOOP x 1,000 a/k/a Marina Fountain - #26

They say a photo paints a thousand words... and this one would be "BLOOOP" x 1,000.

Taken at some really cool fountains at Dubai Marina. This area is called "New Dubai" as it is shooting up so fast.

5 years ago it didn't exist, 2 years ago 48 (yes, forty eight) tower blocks (sorry luxury apartments) were initiated and sold in seconds... it is not too far away from completion now...

I'll post some more of this fascinating area soon.

For now I leave you with BLOOOP - a true once only ever occurrence.
