The Old And The New - #77

A mix of the old and the new...

The ancient heritage of exercising the camels and the birth of a city in the background. Note the tallest building is the Burj Dubai which will be the worlds tallest building by the end of 2008. It is currently over 80 floors and is only less than half built...

I apologise if I feature camels too much... I've still not grown tired of them and may always find them more interesting than sheep or cows.

The juxtaposition of the "old and the new" that you point out makes for an interesting photo. Have you ridden any camels yourself? I understand that they can be quite nasty. Had one spit at me years ago while on a foreign trip. Nasty little bugger!

MAGNIFIQUE MAGNIFIQUE!!!!!

Is this a very exceptional catch or a fairly regular occurence ? Go for the camels, go, they're like kangaroos in Australia, gotta love them! We've got plenty of cows back home in Europe thank you very much.
